so i saw my score from my data structures and algorithms exam that i took last thursday online and was very surprised at the score, i felt that i had not done that well and my score indicated i did much better…
well i actually got the exam back today and noticed that they put the scores for each problem on the front page and for one problem i had gotten a 7 but the person had written the 7 so it looked like a 17…so i had gotten 10 extra points from that…
now normally if the mistake was one point or something i might not bring it up, but this was 10 points! take away those 10 points and my exam grade drops 14%…
but i decided to be honest so i took it to the TA and he said “oops, oh well, it’s nice you brought it to my attention though”…so since it was their error i get to keep the better score…the TA said to just “consider yourself lucky”…
well this “lucky” break could easily decide what my final grade in the class is…
